Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 2026
The Nearly Normal Podcast is committed to making our content accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe mental health content should be available to all who need it.
Our Commitment
We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our website and podcast content.
What We’re Doing
Our accessibility efforts include using clear, plain language in all content; providing meaningful page titles and headings for screen reader navigation; ensuring sufficient color contrast for readability; and making all links descriptive so users understand where they lead.
For our podcast audio content, we are working toward providing transcripts and captions for episodes. YouTube episodes include auto-generated captions, which we continue to review for accuracy.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some older content may not yet meet all standards. We are actively working to address any gaps and appreciate your patience as we make improvements.
Feedback and Contact
If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our site or have suggestions for improvement, please reach out. We take all feedback seriously and will respond promptly.
